Fantastic experience working with Mimi to stage our place prior to listing for sale in October 2016. Mimi brought a "designer's eye" that helped sell our place after the first open house the first weekend on the market, receiving multiple full price offers. She is knowledgeable, friendly, easy to work with and flexible.
Mimi brought out the best in our apartment by 1) leveraging existing elements exceptionally, 2) making recommendations to consider investing in some upgrades (lighting, rug, headboards) that were consistent with out taste but would help accentuate the unit for sale, and 3) loaned us accent items for the duration that the place was on the market. These little touches helped really helped make the room "pop". There were several occasions when people walked into the room and couldn't control their initial reaction as to how good the place looked. She was that good.
For this project, I thought her fees were very reasonable, particularly given that she loaned us many items. One of the best decisions I made to help with the sale of my home as I am confident that the additional value I obtained in the sale price was greater than the cost of the combined cost of her professional service fee + the investment in the items that I am now using in the new home.
We're working with Mimi to stage our home for sale. She went room-by-room with us and told us where we should invest, what we could leave as is, plus small changes -- like moving around furniture and adding accessories -- to amp up the wow factor. She can work miracles on a budget!
When you live in a space, you put up with things that are outdated or mismatched. Mimi helped us see things thru a buyer's lens. She also made it effortless! Her recommendations report included links to products and paint colors. I would've spent hours shopping on my own and never come close to Mimi's picks. Our place is transforming into a contemporary, stylish space.
We'll be using Mimi on every future design project. I don't trust myself to decorate without her!
Mimi is down to earth and easy to work with. She knows what sells a house and is always ahead of the curve with her innovative approach. Her prices are fair and she works hard with all parties involved. We highly recommend her to anyone that need staging and organization services.
